There seems to be a lot of confusion around the iPhone 3G, and how to unlock it. There are tons of websites claiming/misleading that they can unlock the iPhone 3G with a software solution – they cant!

You can’t probably not until the 4.2 update rolls out you’ll have to jailbreak it first too.
